Saddle Peak Equestrian Center Welcomes Patrick Severance, resident trainer and manager and Riley Funkhouser-Haines, trainer and instructor.

Patrick and Riley bring true horsemanship and ethics to our horse community. Welcome Patrick!

Patrick Severance has February openings for horses in his training program.  406 287 5125.  He specializes in starting colts and training performance horses, with an emphasis on cow working.

Cutting Practices   We have a herd of 35 cows and nine trained buffalo.  Patrick Severance will offer training tips and assistance during the two hour practice. Riders will work to turn back for others, and hold corner positions.  We encourage you to participate in this cutting practice at a level you and your horse can benefit.  Feel free to bring green horses who need experience walking through the herd, or your seasoned show horse.    $40 per horse/rider  Please call ahead and let us know you are coming.

Misty Radue is instructing Friday evening Ladies’ night. Misty is a positive, inclusive instructor who teaches to develop confidence and horsemanship. Starting at 6:30, please join us for an evening of riding and friendship.  Please call Misty at 539 1229 with any questions.
